Contemporary Medical Centre

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

A 2 phase commercial project undertaken in Peterborough. Both were first floor extensions to a working medical centre and required heavy crane lifts in a built up and restricted site – which was a challenge!

The build included foundations to be installed in the existing building, and was the first build in the UK to use the highly efficient Actis Hybris insulation. See articles by Encon Northampton here and Barbour Product Search here.

Unique items to be used on this project were the external elevations were clad using Cedral boarding, lifts were installed by Orona lifts and all works had to be carried out to medical building standards.

  • Steel frame construction
  • Clad in Cedral boarding
  • Building work undertaken whilst medical centre was open and in use.
  • Orona lifts installed
