Internal renovation

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

A 1930’s country house that was needing a makeover. This project included a large extension and remodelling of the layout of the house. A conservatory was fitted with bi-fold doors and a glass balustrade balcony, to preserve the beautiful countryside views.

The kitchen was hand crafted by Alexander Lewis of Market Harborough, and featured cream gloss Silestone worktops. The property is heated via a new ground source heat pump and part underfloor heating and part radiators. Whilst digging for the ground source heating, we discovered a 50ft well, just outside the old front door, which had been covered over and the owner knew nothing about!

A bespoke metal and oak cantilever staircase was installed, which has since been called the ‘Market Harborough’ by the manufacturers Complete Stair Systems, after this project.
